FRIEDRICH VON DIEST (MANAGING PARTNER)

Born in 1967, business school graduate, entrepreneur since 1992; founding member of the Board of ACG AG (IPO 1999) as well as member of the Board and shareholder of Cobion AG (trade sale 2003). Since 1998 business angel and fund investor.

Comprehensive experience in the founding, build-up, financing and sale of approx. 25 technology companies with IPO volumes of up to EUR 100 million and M&A / trade sale volumes of up to EUR 100 million. Personnel, sales and profit responsibility for up to 600 employees, EUR 350 million sales and EUR 12 million EBITDA.

Member of supervisory and advisory boards of several technology companies and recipient of the "Entrepreneur of the Year" award in 2000.

   
 


   
 
ERNST G. MAYER (MANAGING PARTNER)

Born in 1953, business manager and economist, was responsible from 1985 to 1989 for the financing of technology companies at the 'Deutsche Ausgleichbank'. As from 1989 he built up tbg (Technologie Beteiligungs Gesellschaft), an investment company specialised in young technology companies. In this position Ernst G. Mayer was manager for product development and from 1996 general manager for finance, organisation and operations. Up to the end of 2003 he was responsible for a participation portfolio of EUR 1.1 billion in approximately 750 technology companies as well as direct investments of EUR 0.4 billion in 42 VC funds.

Ernst G. Mayer is a member of  several supervisory and advisory boards of technology companies.
